  Tara Neil

  MD

  Dr. Tara Neil was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by the Family Physicians in her rural Kansas community and the relationships they formed with their patients and families. “Long term relationships with patients and their families while helping them learn about their health” is her favorite part of her profession. She loves learning about her patients and always listens to what they have to say. “I know the health care system is complicated. I want to help my patients navigate it.” She adds, “I don’t always know the answer, but with my patients help, we can find it together.” In her free time, Dr. Neil can be found enjoying time in the garden with her husband or learning how to play video games with her children.

  Anthony Shaver

  MSN, APRN

  While watching his mother receive care from a hospice nurse, Anthony Shaver knew he was destined to work in healthcare. His favorite part of being a nurse practitioner is “seeing the joy on my patients’ faces as they get better.” He wants patients to know that they will work as a team. “We will walk this road together,” he says. He describes himself as “an educator by nature,” and wants patients to feel informed and understand their treatments. “Building a relationship takes time and trust. Trust me with the little things and the big issues come much easier,” he says. In his free time, Anthony Shaver can be found spending time with his family. He is a lover of dad jokes and is also a volunteer firefighter.
